Our alumni network did some amazing things last year! As 2023 gets underway, here is our first alumni spotlight of the year highlighting three members  who are making waves in the ESG world.

Congratulations to Jennifer Roedding, GCB.D, CCB.D, on her new role as Executive in Residence, Sustainability Integration at the University of Waterloo. Jennifer’s prior finance and accounting background along with her experience in sustainability consulting will serve her well in this new position.

Best wishes to Rebecca Brosnan, GCB.D, who has recently added Independent Non-Executive Director at Grindrod Shipping Holdings Ltd. to her already impressive resume. Based in Hong Kong, Rebecca is also the CFO & Head of Strategy at Diginex and IFC Nominated Director & Member of the Risk Committee at The City Bank. Rebecca’s extensive experience in risk management and corporate strategy make her a strong asset for her new organization.

And finally, warmest congratulations to Jacqueline Musiitwa, GCB.D who graduated from the ESG Designation Program this past December. Jacqueline was recently appointed to a position in the Biden-Harris administration as a Senior Climate Finance Advisor at USAID. She will be working to mobilize US$150 billion to help fight climate change. Jacqueline is a global legal and regulatory expert, and we are sure she will make a huge impact in her new role.

Congratulations again to these alumni on their fabulous achievements, and we look forward to seeing how their new roles unfold. Join us again next month for the next alumni spotlight of 2023, and happy new year!
