The insights, knowledge and real-world experience that our world-class Faculty bring to our programs helps make Competent Boards the world’s leading provider of ESG and climate change education. We are always delighted to share new of their continued successes in their professional careers.
Many congratulations to Simon Henzell-Thomas, one of newer Faculty members, on his recent appointment as the Climate Lead at Ingka Group (IKEA). Throughout Simon’s 10-plus year career in sustainability at IKEA, he has been the Head of Stakeholder Engagement, Human Rights, and, most recently, Advocacy and Transparency. We look forward to seeing the good work that he will continue to do in this new role!
Food insecurity is on many modern board agendas. Kudos to Joyce Cacho for becoming the Chair of Sistema Biobolsa as an Independent Director. We will be keen to hear about Joyce’s contributions to the growth of this bio-energy innovation company, which helps with green energy and sustainable agriculture practices.
We also wish to celebrate the new appointment of Timothy Mohin to the FCA ESG Advisory Board, where he will contribute to the UK’s commitment of meeting a net-zero goal by 2050. Tim continues to hold the position of CEO at ESG Advisory LLC, a company that consults on the feasibility of ESG strategy development of businesses.
We look forward to profiling the achievements of more faculty members soon!
