Bruno Camargo

Founder and Partner at XiCa advogados

Lawyer qualified in Brazil and LLM in European Union and International Busines Law, Bruno’s professional background includes working for a major Brazilian law firm in the corporate and international areas, followed by a 20-year career in multinational corporations such as Philips and Getinge where he held multiple roles as Global and Regional Legal and Compliance Counsel also working and living in Europe, UK and USA. His professional dedication has spanned mergers, acquisitions and divestments; as well as corporate reorganizations, fraud remediation, leniency agreements in corruption and cartel cases, and internal investigations as a recognized subject matter expert practice in the segment of Corporate Ethics and Governance. Advises investors, multinationals, non-profit organizations and indigenous associations, as a specialist in the integration of ESG principles into business strategies. Bruno is a permaculturist and founder-steward of Paková Katu, an environmental, social and regenerative project in the Brazilian Atlantic Forest. He is a founding partner at XiCa advogados www.xica.eco a law firm dedicated to nature-based solutions based in São paulo, Brazil. He also serves as a board member of the GAIL-Global Alliance of Impact Lawyers and Member of the Business and Human Rights Lawyers Association – BHRLA.
