Lindsey Stewart
Director of Stewardship Research and Policy at Morningstar Sustainalytics
Lindsey Stewart is the director of investment stewardship research on Morningstar’s global manager research team. Based in London, UK, Lindsey analyses institutional shareholders’ policies and practices on corporate governance and sustainability topics—particularly their corporate engagement, proxy voting, and public policy engagement activities. Lindsey joined Morningstar in 2022 from the UK Financial Reporting Council where he was head of stakeholder engagement. Prior to that, his career spans over 20 years in investor relations consulting, equity research, and financial reporting and regulation at KPMG and Makinson Cowell. Lindsey qualified as a Chartered Global Management Accountant with AICPA-CIMA, and he also holds the CFA® Charterholder designation.
