Biography
Philippe Zaouati
CEO, Mirova
Philippe Zaouati has contributed to the development of responsible finance both in France and across Europe, in particular through his role in various professional associations and international organizations. He was a member of the European Commission High Level Expert Group on Sustainable Finance (2016-18), a group of 20 senior experts established to help to develop an overarching and comprehensive EU roadmap on sustainable finance. He also was the founder and Chairperson of Finance for Tomorrow, an initiative led by Paris EUROPLACE and the actors of the Paris Financial Center to promote sustainable finance in France and internationally.
Prior to his tenure at Mirova, Philippe was Deputy CEO of Ostrum Asset Management. His previous experience includes high-level management roles within the Groupe CDC, La Banque Postale, and the Crédit Agricole.
Philippe Zaouati graduated from the ENSAE (École Nationale de la Statistique et de l’Administration Économique) and is an accredited member of the French Society of Actuaries. He is also the author of Positive Finance (with Hervé Guez) and of Paris, the Kilometer Zero of Green Finance.
